Early Life
Born Anna Mae Bullock in Nutbush, Tennessee, on November 26, 1939, Tina rose to fame with Ike Turner as they became known for their energetic live performances. However, their personal relationship was tumultuous, and Tina eventually left the band and filed for divorce from Ike in 1978.

After a brief hiatus, Tina made a comeback in the 1980s with her album “Private Dancer,” which featured hits such as “What’s Love Got to Do with It,” “Better Be Good to Me,” and “Private Dancer.” The album peaked at number three on the Billboard 200 chart and went on to sell over 20 million copies worldwide.
