Swae Lee, whose real name is Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown, is an American singer, rapper, and songwriter. He was born on June 7, 1995, in Inglewood, California, but he grew up in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Swae Lee rose to fame as one half of the hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, which he formed with his younger brother Slim Jxmmi in 2013. The team released their debut album “SremmLife” in 2015, which spawned hits like “No Flex Zone” and “Black Beatles.”
In addition to his work with Rae Sremmurd, Swae Lee has also pursued a successful solo career. He has released two studio albums, “Swaecation” and “SremmLife 3,” as well as several singles and collaborations with other artists.
