The older brother of Boyzone star Ronan Keating has been killed in a car crash in Ireland.
Ciaran Keating, 55, was driving home from watching his son play football when his car collided with another vehicle on the N5 near Swinford, Co. Mayo, on Saturday afternoon.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle was also injured in the crash but is not believed to be seriously hurt.
Ronan Keating paid tribute to his brother on Twitter, saying: “My heart is broken. My beautiful big brother Ciaran is gone. I love you so much RIP.”
Ciaran Keating was a successful businessman and entrepreneur. He was the co-founder of the music publishing company MTK Music Group, which represents a number of high-profile artists, including Ronan Keating.
He was also a keen golfer and played off a handicap of 10.
He is survived by his wife, Deirdre, and their two children.
The crash is under investigation by the Gardaí, the Irish police force.

Irish President Michael D. Higgins also offered his condolences, saying: “I was deeply saddened to hear of the death of Ciaran Keating. My thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.”
The crash is under investigation by the Gardaí, the Irish police force.
