Parrish Police Chief Statement

On Monday, July 10th at 7 pm the Parish Police Department was notified of a vehicle that was stolen from the residence located at 311 Crest Avenue.

The victim of the car theft stated his nine-month-old daughter was inside the vehicle at the time it was taken.

The police department along with multiple agencies responded to the responded to the scene and began an immediate search of the area.

Unfortunately, the child has yet to be located an amber alert has been issued for the missing child. The main priority at this time is to locate the child. All resources at the local state and federal levels are being utilized.

The child is a white female Harlow Darby Freeman, date of birth is 10-3 of 2022. The child is approximately 26 inches tall and weighs approximately 20 pounds, has blue eyes and brown hair. The child was last seen wearing a tie-dye onesie and light pink shorts.

The vehicle taken was a white 2009 Lexus RX 350 tag number 3880 a R8. If anyone has any information please contact the National Center for Missing and exploited children at 1-800. I would better not take any questions. I really appreciate the support and prayers from the community and the citizens of Parish.

The mayor also was present during the press briefing in the cast of the kidnapped child and stolen car that has attracted public attention.

I’d like to reiterate what Chief said and just thank the community for every mile they put in last night through the night staying up here and looking for Harlow and uh we’re just thankful for all the agencies that helped every officer but most of all we just urge anyone that has any information for Harlow to bring Harlow home please come forth please please do your diligence and make this call and thank you.
